Baang Cafe & Bar of Greenwich Since its opening in 1995, Baang Cafe & Bar, has received rave reviews from the New York Times, Connecticut Magazine and other esteemed publications and became a top destination restaurant in Fairfield County, Connecticut and New York's affluent Westchester County. The first of De Caro Restaurant Group's restaurants, this lively eatery pulsates with excitement and vibrant colors setting the tone for an exciting dining experience punctuated by the delicious Asian-accented specialties.

Splash Splash was recently awarded "Best of" New England waterfront dining by The Food Network. Located in the beautiful town of Westport in a corner of an historic inn with an uninterrupted and breathtaking view of the Long Island Sound, Splash has rediscovered its American roots and deftly blends them with Asian accents. Since its opening in 1995, the lively and innovative Splash has attracted many loyal diners and has become a popular meeting place for all Southwestern Connecticut. Like the town of Westport, its interior/exterior combines tradition with vibrant.

In 1994 the De Caro's decided to form a family owned and operated restaurant group. So, the company formed Signature Entertainment and its first venue was the opening of Baang Café and Bar — an East meets West fusion concept in Greenwich, Connecticut.

That one restaurant, a success from the day it opened, has spawned a small but rapidly expanding restaurant group that now includes a second Baang at Woodbury Commons on Long Island, New York, and Splash Restaurant in Westport, Connecticut. In recognition of the breadth and success of the company's food service operations, the De Caros have just announced that their enterprise will now be called the De Caro Restaurant Group, says Brian De Caro, President of De Caro Restaurant Group.

"Being a family business makes it easy to grow and change when necessary," De Caro explains. "We want to be one of the premier restaurant groups in the country." He is looking at Dallas, Houston, Scottsdale, and possibly another location in southwestern Connecticut.
